Southern Arkansas University

Southern Arkansas University (SAU) (once in the past known as Southern State College, Magnolia A&M, and Third District Agricultural School) is an open four-year establishment arranged in Magnolia, Arkansas, in Columbia County, Arkansas, orchestrated under 20 miles north of the Louisiana state line.

Keeping up a 17-1 understudy to instructor extent, and gloating a family-like environment, Southern Arkansas University offers programs that are unique for the area, including Game and Animation Design with a product building obsession, or an expressions and arrangement focus. The University furthermore gives an outlining project, the primary of its kind in the southern bit of the state.

In 2002, the University began a vital capital fight, the "Blue and Gold Vision," to upgrade educational and athletic workplaces over the grounds. The Blue and Gold Vision hopes to raise $102.2 million for improvements to the University through a mix of transparent financing. Through the Blue and Gold Vision a couple of new workplaces have been built, including: the Donald W. Reynolds Campus and Community Center, Band Building, Mulerider Stables, University Village, Harton Theater, Fincher Hall, and the Story Rodeo Arena.
