Tribhuvan University (TU) is the main national foundation of advanced education in Nepal. It was built up in 1959 A.D. The Central Administrative Office and the Central Campus of the college are situated on the north eastern veneer of Kirtipur, an antiquated and residential community found five kilometers far from Kathmandu downtown area. Tribhuvan University is a non-benefit making self-ruling establishment financed by the Government of Nepal. On January 8, 2013, the administration of Nepal has chiefly consented to announce Tribhuvan University as the Central University.
